DESIGN SURVEYS & ANALYZE DATA

DATA COLLECTION ANALYST FOR live, at-sea military experiment (Pacific Science)

Survey design and data analysis for a large military experiment involving 60+ interdependent technologies.

I've had the great privilege of serving as a civilian contractor for a multinational, annual military experiment called Trident Warrior. My first year on the project as a data collection analyst was 2007, only five years after its inception. Since then, I worked for 7 consecutive Trident Warrior experiments, and accumulated a total of 46 days at sea aboard various Navy ships including helicopter and aircraft carriers.

The highlight of my time working on this experiment was getting to stay aboard the USS Georgia, a submarine anchored off an island in the Bahamas that served as a test and research vessel where we could implement and test new systems before they were adopted by the wider Naval community.

DESIGN & LEAD RESEARCH PROGRAM

OVERALL RESEARCH LEAD & SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (AUSGAR)

Primary researcher for live, at-sea military experiment conducted to establish baseline operational functionality and justify future funding decisions.

Trident Warrior served as a fundamental project of mine during my career at Pacific Science & Engineering Group, Inc. in San Diego, CA.

I started as a data collection analyst with the Trident Warrior project in 2007 and was hired by the prime contractor, AUSGAR, Inc., in 2014 to lead the entire data collection, results reporting, and experimental planning process.

I served as the Lead Researcher during the 2014 Trident Warrior experiment and enjoyed the responsibility to manage the entire process of collecting and reporting on the data we received.
